Đậu hũ rửa sạch, để ráo nước, cắt thành miếng vừa ăn. Ướp đậu hũ với 1 muỗng hạt thì là, tiêu, ớt bột, bột tỏi và muối cho thấm đều khắp miếng đậu hũ. Làm nóng chảo với dầu ăn, cho đậu hũ vào chiên từ 3 - 5 phút, mỗi mặt nên để 3 phút và thấy vàng nâu giòn thì lật mặt, chiên tiếp 3 phút. Sau đó, phết một lớp nước sốt Hoisin lên trên miếng đậu hũ, rắc hành ngò băm và chút mè rang là hoàn thành rồi đó.
